The No-Look Pass In Soccer

Oh, the no-look pass. You can get creative with this one. This is not your average way to pass the ball. It’s one of soccer’s most theatrical tricks in the book. It leaves your opponents thinking, “What the what? What just happened?!?”  If you are really convincing you might even trick your own teammates. So be careful!

We describe the basic move below, but you can be as creative with it as you like. It’s even a good one for goalies. Check out the Sweeper Keeper, Manuel Neuer himself as he tries it out. Even Gareth Bale was impressed enough to post about it on Facebook. Lol!

The No-Look Pass

Step 1

Run to a free ball or dribble the ball while picking out someone on your team to pass to.

Step 2

Then turn your whole body and then quickly turn your head in the opposite direction of the player you want to pass to.

Step 3

Last, pass to the player you previously picked out and are now facing away from.

Get Creative With The No-Look Pass

Now that you know the basics for the trick move. See if you can pick up any variations from the soccer pros. There are back heel passes, bicycle kick passes, flicks, and more in this video.
