You might think that the soccer or football superstars were just born that way, but even the most gifted players need to train and good coaching. They were all new to the game at some point. 

If you are a new coach you might feel overwhelmed with what you have to learn. Maybe you’re coaching your kid’s rec soccer team or trying to help your new soccer player learn the game. 

Either way, as an individual or a coach, you should start with basic soccer skills. You might be surprised at how often the top players like Lewandoski, Messi, or Mbappe practice the basics as part of their training. It has become second nature to them.
